Capturing the real and authentic in the Cedar Rapids, Ia area - specializing in family, baby & children lifestyle photography.

I’m Darcy, a lifestyle photographer and stationery designer for over 20 years currently serving the Cedar Rapids, Marion and Hiawatha areas. My work reflects an artful approach to our sessions where I prefer to be a fly on the wall, letting personalities unfold that then allows me to capture real and authentic expressions and interactions without too much direction. In 2024 I began a small flower farm nestled amongst 20 acres of timber and wild flower fields which is where our sessions will take place together.

A 60 minute session includes downloadable, online gallery with 50-75 images.

A 30 minute session includes downloadable, online gallery with 25-40 images.

FAQ

What should we wear?

Something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Whites, light blues, light or subtle pastels work well with my editing style. I always love a baby in all white.

Where are you based?

I am based in Toddville, Ia, 10 minutes North of Cedar Rapids, Ia.

When will we get our photos?

You will receive your online gallery within two weeks, (sometimes less depending on the season). All images can be download and shared right from your gallery. You will also have the opportunity to order prints as well.

How many pictures do we get?

For Full Sessions you will receive anywhere from 50-75 (perhaps more) fully edited, hi res images. For Mini Sessions anywhere from 25 to 40.
